The Regenocyte™ Process
Once an individual qualifies for treatment, the new patient will follow the treatment schedule outlined below. This outline will give the patient an idea of what to expect from start to finish. Regenocyte will be there every step of the way.
Before Arriving in the Dominican Republic
- Pre-testing is completed if necessary.
- Blood is drawn locally and sent to our lab.
- At the lab, the naturally occurring stem cells in the blood are cultivated into millions of Regenocytes. This process takes one week at the lab.
- Exactly one week after the blood is drawn, the patient and the Regenocytes both arrive at the treatment facility.
- Regenocyte will supply a personal representative to assist the patient and any travel companions every step of the way. (see below)
Traveling to the Dominican Republic
- The patient will land in Santiago’s beautiful new International airport.
- At the airport, the patient and travel companions will be greeted by a personal representative of Regenocyte. This representative will provide 24-hour assistance during the patient's stay in the Dominican Republic, including:
- transportation to and from the airport
- transportation to and from the hospital
- language interpretation
- hospital and hotel check-in.
- The airport, hospital and hotel are all conveniently located within minutes of each other.
Recovery
- Most cardiac patients will spend up to 48 hours at the hospital.
- Most PAD patients will be treated at the hospital as an outpatient and discharged within hours of the treatment.
- Patients are encouraged to relax for the days following treatment and not fly back home immediately. If you choose to extend your stay before or after your procedure, Regenocyte Therapeutic would be happy to assist you with these arrangements.
- The patient can return home to continue your recovery when he or she is ready.
